Mariet’s qualifications extend beyond her initial training. She holds advanced certifications in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (OMT) and dry needling, ensuring she’s always up-to-date with the latest research and techniques. Her background as a runner fuels her passion for running gait analysis and treating running-related injuries, emphasizing the importance of thorough assessments to uncover and address the root causes of pain.

When she’s not working, Mariet enjoys quality time with her husband and two energetic kids. An avid sports enthusiast and triathlete, she earned the honor of  being selected to represented South Africa at the Triathlon World Championships in her age category and completed three Ironman 70.3 events, with a best finish of 2nd place in her age group.
